Our Vision
Because of the hope we have in Jesus Christ, we seek to glorify God by proclaiming his measureless love and salvation, by worshipping Him with our voices and testimonies, and by serving the Cornell community and beyond through a cappella music.

Who We Are
Christian a cappella is by no means new at Cornell. In fact, Measureless is the fusion of two of Cornell's previous a cappella groups-the Atonements and Grace Notes, which have been around for about a decade. With the aim of achieving greater unity in vision and voice, “Measureless” was formed. The name "Measureless" comes from the hymn "Love of God," which describes God's love for us, His creation. In God's infinite love, He gave up his one and only son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins so that we might be reconciled to Him.

In response to God's love for us, it is only fitting that we follow the psalmist's example in Psalm 71:14-16 which says:

But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. My mouth will tell of your righteousness, of your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure. I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, O Sovereign Lord; I will proclaim your righteousness, yours alone.

Therefore, the group's purpose is to glorify God in all things related to and outside a cappella. We aim to share the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ with the Cornell community and beyond through music and through the personal testimonies of God's power in our lives. In doing these things, we strive to draw nearer to God and take part in his awesome work.
